Should gun safety, shooting and tolerance be taught in schools?
I think absolutely, yes it should! If more children were being taught proper handling of a gun, how to stay safe if they ever need to use a gun, and tolerance over aggression, perhaps the number of gun related accidents would decrease.
It seems that a lot of gun accidents are related to improper handling due to the lack of knowledge. Kids are just simply not being taught about how to use a gun at home anymore.
Instead there seems to be a push to hide them from our children, remove guns from our homes, and remove our freedom to own our own firearms. That doesn't sound American. Gun safety is not taught through gun control, it can only be taught through proper use, and this should start at a very young age and be a required course in our national education system. This is American!
